2022

   .    November and December - Old Tempsford in Colour.

   .    September and October - Tempsford School.

   .    July and August - RAF Tempsford and the Agents who served. 

   .    May and June - Tempsford Womens Institute from its formation in 1919 to its closure in 2021.

• March and April - The Stuart Family purchased the Tempsford Estate in 1824 and today their Descendants, the Wynne Family still own the estate to this day. Sadly, on the 2nd April 1922, William Dugald Stuart, the last male Lord of the Manor of Tempsford, died at Tempsford Hall. His son and only child, Esme Stuart was Killed In Action in the First World War, thus leaving only his wife Millicent Stuart to live on at Tempsford Hall until her death in 1933. Our Exhibition on 3rd April will be “A Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Death of William Dugald Stuart of Tempsford Hall” and to tell the story of his Illustrious Family, with Photographs, Ephemera, and Family items on display in our main museum display room.

2021

• Sunday 1st August - Old Tempsford Families. New photographs donated over the past few months. Some never seen before. Refreshments Available.

• Sunday 5th September - Old Tempsford Families. New photographs donated over the past few months. Some never seen before. Refreshments Available.

• Sunday 3rd October open for an extra hour from 2pm till 5pm. The exhibition will be "OLD NEWSPAPER ARCHIVES " with a selection of newspaper cuttings from our museum newspaper archive, relating to Tempsford Village with articles spanning the past century and more. Also on display will be other permanent and temporary display boards associated with Tempsford Village and RAF Tempsford.

2020

• Open Sunday 1st March 2020 - 2 - 4pm. 'Tempsford Weddings' - On show will be a selection of photographs showing Tempsford Weddings through the years. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Home baked refreshments will be available.

• Open Sunday 2nd February 2020 - 2 - 4pm. Tempsford 'Familiar Faces' - On show will be a selection of photographs showing old Tempsford characters. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Home baked refreshments will be available.

2019

• Open Sunday 1st December 2019 - 2 - 4pm. The Stuart Family of Tempsford Hall - On show will be a wealth of 19th & 20th Century photographs, papers & ephemera relating to this once old Bedfordshire aristocratic family. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Home baked refreshments will be available.

• Open Sunday 3rd November 2019 - 2 - 4pm. The Stuart Family of Tempsford Hall - On show will be a wealth of 19th & 20th Century photographs, papers & ephemera relating to this once old Bedfordshire aristocratic family. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Home baked refreshments will be available.

To include Tempsford Mill, Sawfords Garage, Zwetsloots Nurseries, Railway Goods Yard, Pubs & Village Shops. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Home baked refreshments will be available.

• Open Sunday 5th May 2019 - 2 - 4pm. Tempsford 'Out & About' - This month we will be displaying a selection of old photographs showing local towns & villages around Tempsford. These will include St Neots, Duloe, Staploe, Wyboston, Little Barford, Roxton, Blunham, Great Barford, Chicksands, Ickwell, Bedford & Sandy. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford Village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Refreshments available.

We will be displaying photographs targeting various aspects of Tempsford such as Tempsford Bridge, Church, Tempsford Hall, Village Hall, Chantry House etc. Other permanent exhibits associated with Tempsford Village & RAF Tempsford will also be on display. Refreshments available.

• Open Sunday 2nd December 2018 - 2 - 4pm - 'We Will Remember Them' An Exhibition of Photographs, Ephemera, Papers, Battlefield Artifacts, Medals & much more on display to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One. Also to Honour the Fifteen Men from Tempsford Village who lost their lives in Battle and to Celebrate the lives of those who returned to a much different village than the one they left. Refreshments available

• Aerial Photo Exhibition - Saturday 16th September 2017 10am - 4pm

  Tempsford Museum & Archive Presents an Exhibition of Aerial Photographs of Tempsford Village taken at roughly Ten Year intervals between 1945 and 2016. Saturday 16th September 2017 in the Stuart Memorial Hall. The photographs span the whole of Church End and Station Road, together with the Great North Road and various outlying properties. Refreshments available with Home Baked Cakes. Entry £3.00 (Members Half Price). Come along and see how much your house and the village has changed over the past 70 years.
